The Mountain Knows - The Pack Begins Here

Every mountain has a story. This one chose Gideon.

When Gideon — a loyal, sharp‑eyed Czechoslovakian German Shepherd — follows his human up the ridge to their cabin, he discovers a world alive with secrets. Bears in the dark. Deer in the dreams. Turkeys with attitude. A fox that moves like smoke. And a mountain that watches every step they take.

Through Gideon’s eyes, the wilderness becomes a living character: curious, ancient, and quietly protective. With Dad at his side and Mommy visiting on weekends, Gideon learns what it means to guard a home, trust the land, and become part of something bigger than himself.

But the mountain doesn’t just welcome them. It tests them.

From nighttime visitors to creek disasters to the mysterious stump Momma D once loved, Gideon’s first season on the ridge is full of magic, mischief, and moments that change him forever.

And when Mommy leaves at the end of the week, the mountain sends one last visitor — a silent coyote in the morning light — to let Gideon know he’s not alone.

The Mountain Pack begins here. And the mountain knows he’s back.
